Retired military personnel sealed off the Finance Ministry building in Tripoli this morning, continuing a series of coordinated actions across Lebanon aimed at securing salary corrections and full settlement of outstanding entitlements.

The Association of Former Lebanese Armed Forces Members, jointly with the Retired Military Personnel Gathering, declared its rejection of the Cabinet’s decision on the temporary compensation measure and the installment-based application of retroactive effect. The association affirmed that payment must be made in full, strictly in accordance with the law.

The association called on the Parliament to include the required budgetary allocations in the 2027 state budget to ensure salary improvements beginning at the start of the year. It emphasized that protest actions will continue until all demands are fully met.
