Salam Discusses Strengthening Relations with Denmark and Activating Syrian Committee
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam held diplomatic meetings to enhance cooperation with Denmark and activate the joint Lebanese-Syrian committee.

As part of official diplomatic movements within the Grand Serail, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam conducted a series of protocol meetings with representatives from two countries. These meetings included discussions on mechanisms to strengthen mutual cooperation and activate existing institutional frameworks between Lebanon and both Denmark and Syria.
Strengthening Danish-Lebanese Relations
Salam received the newly appointed Danish Ambassador to Lebanon, Mette Thaysen, for an official introductory visit following her appointment. During this meeting, focus was placed on reviewing the state of bilateral relations between the two countries, while discussing available options to develop these ties in a way that serves mutual interests.
The Joint High Committee File
On another note, the Prime Minister held a meeting with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Lebanon, Iyad Al-Hazzaq. Both sides dedicated a significant portion of their time to reviewing the ongoing work towards activating the operations of the Lebanese-Syrian Joint High Committee, as a practical step to coordinate official cooperation between the two parties.
