Prime Minister Nawaf Salam chaired a cabinet-level meeting reviewing Lebanon’s progress on the Financial Action Task Force action plan aimed at exiting the grey list.

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam presided over a meeting of the Follow-up Committee for the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) action plan. In attendance were Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Tarek Mitri; Finance Minister Yassin Jabber; Justice Minister Adel Nassar; Interior and Municipalities Minister Brigadier General Ahmad al-Hajjar; Governor of Banque du Liban Karim Saad; Chairman of the Special Investigation Commission Abd al-Hafiz Mansour; and Cassation Public Prosecutor Ahmed Rami al-Hajj.
The session focused on assessing implementation progress against FATF requirements, with the stated objective of removing Lebanon from the FATF grey list. Participants reviewed measures already completed and outlined upcoming milestones required under the agreed action plan.
