Salutation to the U.S. Ambassador: Israeli Withdrawal Is Our Goal in Negotiations
Prime Minister Naoûf Salam met with U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Michel Aoun, discussing the situation in southern Lebanon, the negotiation process, and American support for the Lebanese Army.

Prime Minister Naoûf Salam received U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Michel Aoun, accompanied by Eric Traeger from the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee, and Roy Awabda, a senior professional member of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
Discussions focused on the situation in the south, the negotiation track, and U.S. support for the Lebanese Army.
Salam emphasized that the negotiation framework is clear regarding the necessity of Israel's withdrawal from Lebanese territory, which is our goal in negotiations, alongside establishing state authority over its entire territory.
