Saudi Crown Prince Invites Lebanese President for Visit Amid Support Talks

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman extended an invitation to Lebanese President Joseph Aoun to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This invitation was made during a telephone conversation between the two leaders.

During the call, they discussed recent developments in Lebanon and the broader region. The Crown Prince affirmed Saudi Arabia's full support for Lebanon during this critical period and praised the sovereign decisions taken by President Aoun to safeguard Lebanon's independence and territorial integrity.

The phone conversation involved President Joseph Aoun and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who is also the Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia. The discussion focused on recent regional and Lebanese affairs, with the Crown Prince reiterating Saudi Arabia's support for Lebanon in the current circumstances.

Mohammed bin Salman reaffirmed Riyadh's determination to provide assistance across all sectors Lebanon requires, based on the priorities set by the Lebanese government. This includes support for the Lebanese economy and efforts to enhance its stability.

In response, President Joseph Aoun expressed gratitude to the Crown Prince for Saudi Arabia's supportive stance and the measures taken by the Kingdom to aid Lebanon's economy. He appreciated the invitation to visit Riyadh and confirmed his intention to accept it at the earliest opportunity, emphasizing the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

This announcement came just before President Aoun's scheduled visit to the United States, where he plans to present a written plan to President Donald Trump aimed at disarming Hezbollah.
