"Sayyidat al-Jabal": Explosives Similar to Those Used in 2004 Assassinations

The "Sayyidat al-Jabal" meeting held its weekly gathering at its headquarters in Achrafieh, both in person and electronically. The participants issued a statement declaring "full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of the Houthi terrorist attacks it is subjected to," calling for "the broadest Lebanese, Arab, Islamic, and international support campaign for the Kingdom and its choices."

The "Meeting" praised "the Internal Security Forces and all security agencies for their vigilance in thwarting criminal conspiracies, particularly in light of the discovery of an attempt to transport a massive quantity of explosives from the Bekaa Valley to Beirut by members of 'Hezbollah,' an organization that carried out assassinations as attested by the International Tribunal."
They wished to place "this advanced step within the context of implementing the decisions taken by the government on August 5-6, 2025, and March 2, 2016, regarding the prohibition of militias and the acquisition, transport, and use of weapons across all Lebanese territory, noting that similar explosives were used in every assassination crime and attempted assassination witnessed by Lebanon since 2004."
