Lebanese Internal Security Forces (ISF) successfully raided a warehouse storing expired medications in the Gallery Saman area, overcoming attempts by armed groups to obstruct the operation and sealing the site with red wax.

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces issued a statement reading: “A number of young men attempted to prevent a security force from raiding a warehouse containing invalid medications in the Gallery Saman area, but the force managed to complete its mission, seize the drugs, and seal the warehouse with red wax.”
In detail, the ISF announced that while a unit belonging to the Central Criminal Investigation Division was executing a mission to seize invalid medications stored inside a warehouse in the area, a group of young men on motorcycles gathered and tried to prevent its elements from carrying out the raid.

Despite the attempt to obstruct the mission, the force managed to enter the warehouse and complete the procedures, seizing the medications found inside and sealing it with red wax.
The ISF indicated that the investigation is ongoing based on the instruction of the competent judiciary.

Earlier, "Al Jadeed" reported that while patrols belonging to the Central Criminal Investigation Division were executing a mission to impound and seize medications in warehouses belonging to a pharmaceutical company in the Gallery Saman – Beirut area, due to their spoilage and lack of health conditions for distribution, dozens of armed young men identifying themselves as Hezbollah supporters gathered to surround the patrol elements and demanded that its head withdraw.
The patrols were executing a judicial mandate issued by Prosecutor General Ahmad Rami Al-Hajj, based on a referral from Minister of Health Rakan Nasr Eddine.

The patrol head contacted the Prosecutor General, who advised him to request support from the Army Command and the General Directorate of the ISF, after the number of armed men exceeded hundreds. Immediately thereafter, the army arrived at the scene. Subsequently, the armed men withdrew.

In a related context, sources from "Al Hadath" channel reported the withdrawal of Hezbollah elements after the Lebanese Army arrived in the southern suburbs of Beirut to encircle a warehouse described by the channel as dedicated to "Iranian medications."
The sources added that the Lebanese judiciary gave instructions to the army to support security elements in encircling the warehouse.

According to "Al Hadath" sources, a decisive message reached Hezbollah following the warehouse incident, stating that the army will not tolerate any breach of internal security.
