Series of Meetings for Peace and Rapprochement in New York
Foreign Minister Joseph Aoun held a series of meetings in New York during the UN General Assembly, engaging with regional leaders including Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.

"I participated in a series of meetings with Prime Minister Najib Mikati on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, including with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Sistani, and Bahraini Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla bin Rashid Al-Zayani.
The meetings addressed developments in Lebanon and the region, and ways to strengthen Arab and international support for Lebanon."
