Speaker Berri Calls Mawlid an Annual Call to Emulate Noble Islamic Values
Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri extended Mawlid al-Nabi greetings to Lebanese citizens, Muslims, and the Arab and Islamic nations, urging daily emulation of the Prophet’s ethical and spiritual teachings.

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri issued a message marking the Mawlid al-Nabi, offering congratulations to all Lebanese citizens, with special emphasis on Muslims and the broader Arab and Islamic nations.
Berri expressed the hope that the Mawlid al-Nabi would serve as an occasion for renewing commitment to noble faith-based and mission-oriented values embodied by the Prophet Muhammad—peace be upon him, his family, companions, and descendants—whose birth signified mercy and hope, and whose prophethood completed the highest moral virtues.
He added that the Mawlid al-Nabi, like all faith-based and spiritual occasions, must function as daily milestones for emulation and practical application of its values and teachings—principles established solely for the sake of justice and the protection of human dignity—so that believers may truly become “the best nation brought forth for mankind.”
