Syria Sends Government Delegation to Beirut...

A high-level Syrian government delegation will visit Lebanon on Tuesday for extensive talks on shared economic, service, and investment issues—the broadest such visit since the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime, according to "Syria TV".

The site reported that the delegation includes six ministers: Minister of Economy and Industry Mohammad Nadhal Al-Sha'ar, Minister of Agriculture Bassel Hafez Al-Suwedan, Minister of Tourism Mazen Al-Salihani, Minister of Education and Higher Education Mohammad Abdul Rahman Turkou, Minister of Transport Yarib Sulaiman Bader, and Minister of Health Musab Al-Ali.

Also participating in the delegation are the Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority, the Chairman of the Syrian Investment Authority Ahmad Rowad Ramadan, the CEO of the Syrian Petroleum Company Youssef Kablawi, along with several officials and representatives from government bodies.

According to sources, the delegation will hold extensive meetings chaired by Lebanese Deputy Prime Minister Tariq Metri, in the presence of relevant Lebanese ministers and officials.

The visit’s agenda includes direct sectoral meetings between Syrian and Lebanese ministers to discuss areas of mutual cooperation and ways to enhance economic, investment, and service relations between the two countries.
