Teachers Union Announces Continuation of Friday Strike
The Basic Education Teachers Union announced the continuation of their strike on Friday, citing unresolved issues regarding school conditions and teacher contracts.

The Basic Education Teachers Union greeted "all colleagues who demonstrated their commitment to public education and official schools."
In a statement, the union noted that "due to ongoing ambiguity and the lack of any clarification regarding the study of school situations or the integration of hired teachers and contractors funded by school funds, and the absence of a decision to postpone evening classes until the academic year begins normally in morning shifts, we will continue the strike in both morning and evening shifts tomorrow, Friday, the 16th, rejecting the policy of delay and neglect," hoping that "the ministry finds the necessary solutions before the start of next week."
