Tourism Facilitations Between Lebanon and Syria... What Did the Minister of Tourism Announce?

Tourism Minister Laura Lahoud announced to MTV from Damascus during her trip to participate in the "Syria Travel Forum" that "the visit aims to facilitate travel and visits between Lebanese and Syrians and constitutes a preliminary step for subsequent meetings with the tourism sector."

She pointed out "amendments to the conditions for Syrian entry into Lebanon according to specific criteria, and facilitations that will contribute to revitalizing tourism between the two countries, as there are amendments being worked on by the Syrian side to align with Lebanese procedures."
