Traffic Measures Today and Tomorrow in Al-Hamra, Badaro, and Dabiyeh Due to Sports and Social Events

The General Directorate of Internal Security – Public Relations Division announced traffic measures in Al-Hamra, Badaro, and Dabiyeh.

First: In the Al-Hamra district

Starting at 2:00 PM on September 19 and 20, 2026, a festival titled "Back to School" will be held to boost commerce and tourism activity along Al-Hamra Street.

Main Al-Hamra Street will be closed throughout the festival duration, from in front of Rosas Café to Croissant Plaza Hotel, and all side streets branching from the area will also be closed. Additionally, traffic will be diverted from the Rosas Café intersection: right onto Cairo Street, left onto Al-Muqaddasi Street, then left onto Sha'ar Naim Yafi.

Second: In the Badaro district

From 6:00 AM until 4:00 PM on September 20, 2026, a public service television advertisement for the General Directorate of Civil Defense will be filmed along Al-Elm Street in Badaro (opposite Ogero).

Third: In Marina – Dabiyeh district

Starting at 8:00 AM on September 20, 2026, the Antranik Youth Association will host a charitable FUN RUN event in the Marina – Dabiyeh area between Golden Beach Pool and the late Lieutenant Colonel Wissam al-Hassan Barracks along the coastal road. The designated route will be closed throughout the event duration until completion.

Therefore, the General Directorate of Internal Security requests citizens to take note, comply with instructions from security personnel and their guidance, and follow posted traffic signs in the mentioned areas to facilitate traffic flow and prevent congestion.
