The Internal Security Forces announced daily traffic narrowing at the Adliya intersection starting October 2, 2026, lasting ten days.

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces’ Public Relations Division issued a statement detailing upcoming roadworks affecting traffic flow near the Adliya intersection. A contracted company has commenced operations to raise manhole covers to asphalt level on the roadway extending from the Dakhiliya intersection to Adliya in both directions.
According to the announcement, these maintenance activities will take place every day between 18:00 and 04:00 the following morning. The works are scheduled to begin on October 2, 2026, and will continue for a period of ten days.
The source stated that the ongoing operations will result in a reduction of the available lane space for vehicles traveling on both sides of the road. However, the directive clarified that this narrowing does not constitute a complete ban on traffic movement through the area.
Citizens were urged to take note of these changes and to strictly adhere to the instructions provided by Internal Security Forces personnel present at the site. Drivers must also follow the traffic signs installed in the location to facilitate smooth passage and prevent congestion.
