UAE President Offers Support to Lebanon in Call with President Aoun

President Joseph Aoun received a phone call from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, during which they discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region in light of recent developments, particularly the framework agreement between Lebanon and Israel sponsored by the United States, announced in Washington in the evening.

During the call, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed affirmed the UAE’s support for Lebanon and its backing of the positions taken by President Aoun and the Lebanese government. He also expressed his country's readiness to assist Lebanon in political, economic, and social fields to help the country overcome its difficult circumstances.

President Aoun thanked Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed for his support, appreciating the contributions of the United Arab Emirates toward Lebanon and its people across all sectors, and wished the UAE continued stability, strength, and progress.
