UAE to Open Electronic Visa Center in Beirut Next Month

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the opening of an electronic visa center in the Lebanese capital, "Beirut," during the next month, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

Undersecretary Omar Obaid Al Shamsi noted that "the opening of the center comes within the framework of strengthening relations between the two countries and their brotherly peoples, and is an important step to push cooperation between the two countries to new horizons."

He clarified that "the center will enable applicants in Lebanon to complete procedures related to visa applications from within the Lebanese Republic, contributing to shortening the applicant's journey and accelerating procedures in accordance with the systems and requirements adopted by the relevant authorities."

He said: "The opening of the center reflects the UAE's experience in adopting innovative digital solutions, which contributes to simplifying procedures, raising service efficiency, and providing a more easy and flexible customer experience, whether inside or outside the country, in line with the state's orientations towards digital transformation."
