The National News Agency reported that the civil defense team attempting to extinguish a fire in Deir Mimas came under gunfire from the Israeli army.

In details, the civil defense team departed from the Al-Qalaa Center, following approval through the mechanism, heading to Deir Mimas to extinguish a fire that broke out along the Litani River, between Khurdali Road and Marjeyoun Khurdali Road.

While carrying out firefighting operations, Israeli forces opened fire on civil defense personnel, though no injuries were reported, prompting the team to withdraw from the site for their safety.

It should be noted that this incident repeated last night, when Israeli forces fired three shells near the civil defense team while they were in the cooling phase after extinguishing the fire, forcing the team to halt work and withdraw once again.
