The agreement was signed at the Ministry of Public Health headquarters, attended by Minister of Public Health Rakan Nassar al-Din, a delegation from the Zakat Fund led by Chairman of the Board Consul Muhammad al-Jawzi, including Vice President Samer al-Safaa, General Director Sheikh Dr. Zuhair al-Kabi, and Board Members Yusra Saadani and Bashir Hariri, along with a delegation from the Fund's management.

Al-Jawzi emphasized that "this step is part of developing healthcare operations within institutions affiliated with the Grand Mufti's Office, particularly the Zakat Fund, moving toward more comprehensive, organized, and sustainable health services that enhance prevention, early detection, follow-up, and healthcare support."
He noted that "the center, located in the New Road area of Beirut, will serve the people of Beirut broadly, and especially residents of New Road and surrounding areas," adding: "We want to be close to our people, transitioning from immediate aid to building sustainable services and institutions that uphold human dignity and ensure proper healthcare for all."
Al-Jawzi thanked Nassar al-Din and the Ministry of Public Health for their cooperation, reaffirming "the importance of partnership and integration with state institutions in advancing healthcare initiatives and strengthening Lebanon's primary healthcare network."
