Israel's Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar stated that Israel would withdraw from Lebanon once the Lebanese government and army assert their authority, noting that Hezbollah's actions contradict the Lebanese government's will.
Israel's Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar confirmed that "we will withdraw from Lebanon when the government and army impose their authority," adding via Al Arabiya that "Hezbollah violates the will of the Lebanese government, and we have no regional ambitions in Lebanon."
Sa'ar said, "We will respond to Hezbollah's targeting as we deem appropriate."
