Lebanon

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar met with the UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Janine Hennis, in Jerusalem.
He told her that "Hezbollah continues to violate the ceasefire, in contradiction with Lebanon's interests, thus undermining the ceasefire."
He added: "Under pressure from the Iranian regime, Hezbollah has fired approximately 10,000 rockets, shells and drones at Israel since March 2, and many of these attacks were launched from near UNIFIL positions."
Saar declared that Israel is witnessing what he described as an alarming and increasing pattern, asserting that Hezbollah is systematically deploying its personnel and equipment near UNIFIL positions, exploiting their presence in its hostile operations.
He stated that Hezbollah is using these positions to monitor Israeli army forces and is moving its personnel in vehicles similar to UNIFIL vehicles.
Saar called on the Lebanese government to take decisive action against Hezbollah and its elements, including financial measures targeting its sources of funding.
