Makhzoumi: May 7 is still ongoing in different forms

MP Fouad Makhzoumi wrote on "X": "May 7 is the day when all masks fell. A day when Hezbollah used its weapons against Beirut and the Lebanese, proving that arms outside the state do not protect a nation but rather destroy the nation from within. Since that day, May 7 has not left Lebanon. It is still ongoing in different forms: a collapsed state, paralyzed institutions, a suffocated capital, and southern villages left to occupation and destruction while Hezbollah insists on keeping its weapons above the state and the law. Hezbollah's weapons did not protect Lebanon, but rather dragged it from collapse to collapse, and opened the doors of Beirut, the south, and all of Lebanon to ruin and isolation."
