Minister of Interior Ahmad Al-Hajjar praised the constructive cooperation between the Central Anti-Narcotics Bureau in the Judicial Police Unit of the Lebanese Internal Security Forces and the Anti-Narcotics Department in Syria, which led to the arrest of one of the individuals wanted by the Lebanese judiciary for drug smuggling crimes, and his subsequent extradition to Lebanon according to adopted procedures.

Minister of Interior Ahmad Al-Hajjar praised the constructive cooperation between the Central Anti-Narcotics Bureau in the Judicial Police Unit of the Lebanese Internal Security Forces and the Anti-Narcotics Department in Syria, which led to the arrest of one of the individuals wanted by the Lebanese judiciary for drug smuggling crimes, and his subsequent extradition to Lebanon according to adopted procedures.
He also praised the dismantling of an international network that was preparing to smuggle 85 kg of drugs into Kuwait, in coordination with the Anti-Narcotics Departments in Syria and Kuwait.
Al-Hajjar emphasized "the importance of strengthening joint coordination between the agencies of sisterly Arab countries, especially in the field of combating drugs and maintaining security, due to its essential role in protecting Lebanese society and Arab societies," affirming "the continuation of pursuing criminal networks and intensifying joint efforts to combat them."
