Series of Meetings for President Aoun to Discuss the Situation

Baabda Palace witnessed a series of meetings, during which President General Jozef Aoun followed up on the security situation and movement at crossings and public facilities.

In this context, President Aoun was briefed by Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rassamni on the ministry's work in the current circumstances, especially the movement at Rafic Hariri International Airport and the ports of Beirut and Tripoli, and the measures taken to ensure the continuity of work in maritime and air facilities.

The President also reviewed with the Director-General of General Security Major General Hassan Shqair the general situation in the country and the work of General Security, within the framework of measures taken to maintain security and stability, in addition to movement at land, air, and sea crossings, and the adopted procedures for their continued normal flow.

President Aoun also received the acting Cassation Public Prosecutor Judge Pierre Francis on the occasion of him assuming his duties.
