Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Youssef Raggi received a phone call from Poland's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski, during which the two sides discussed the latest security developments in Lebanon, in light of the continued Israeli aggression on Lebanese territories. Sikorski affirmed "his country's full support for Lebanon and its people," emphasizing "Poland's categorical rejection of any attempt aimed at changing internationally recognized borders or seizing any part of Lebanese territory."

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Youssef Raggi received a phone call from Poland's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radek Sikorski, during which the two sides discussed the latest security developments in Lebanon, in light of the continued Israeli aggression on Lebanese territories.

Sikorski affirmed "his country's full support for Lebanon and its people," emphasizing "Poland's categorical rejection of any attempt aimed at changing internationally recognized borders or seizing any part of Lebanese territory."

For his part, Raggi affirmed that "the Lebanese state has decided to engage in direct negotiations with the aim of reaching a permanent ceasefire and ensuring a complete Israeli withdrawal from Lebanese territories."

The call also touched upon "the post-UNIFIL mission phase and mechanisms for the proposed alternative arrangement."

Raggi thanked "Poland for its active contribution to international peacekeeping forces."
