A judicial source told MTV that there has been no political interference in the case of Colonel in State Security Mohammad Shrim, whose name became linked to the Sakiet al-Janzir incident. The source noted that Government Commissioner to the Military Court Judge Claude Ghanem summoned Shrim shortly after the incident on Saturday, and that he will appear today before Brigadier General Bassam Abu Farh, who is expected to release him pending investigation. The generator owner, patrol members, and some participants in the incident will also be summoned.
