Days After a Republican Guard Member Goes Missing — Solidarity Vigil Held in Zahle

The family of missing young man Patrick Antranig Bakarian held a solidarity vigil in Zahle, demanding the revelation of the fate of their son — a Republican Guard member who has been missing for 9 days since visiting his girlfriend in the town of Jadida Marjayoun.

Participants in the vigil appealed to "army leadership and political and party authorities to take urgent action and follow up on the case to uncover his fate as quickly as possible." They warned of "escalatory steps if the ambiguity persists and no clear information is obtained about him."
