Army Commander General Rudolph Heikal received Canada's Ambassador to Lebanon, Gregory Galligan, accompanied by the Canadian Military Attaché, Lieutenant Colonel Jawad Al Khairy, at his office in Yarzeh. General Heikal also received members of the Parliamentary Committee for the Protection of Civilian Property and the Prevention of Systematic Destruction, which included MPs Fadi Allama, Qassem Hashem, and Ashraf Baydoun. The mechanism for documenting the demolition and destruction carried out by the Israeli occupation in the southern villages and towns was discussed.
