Trump: I have admiration for Lebanon and its leadership

US President Donald Trump indicated that "Iran and its proxy Hezbollah destroyed Lebanon, and the party is automatically eliminated when we eliminate Iran."

Trump added to "Axios": "I told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that he should be careful in Lebanon, and he cannot demolish buildings, which is terrible and harms Israel's image," stating: "I informed Netanyahu that Israel should suffice with limited military action in Lebanon and avoid a full resumption of war."

Trump continued: "I have admiration for Lebanon and its leadership, and the country can rise again."
