The wedding took place on Saturday, September 26, in a hall on the fourth floor of the hotel. The website "The Correspondent" reported from attendees and those familiar with the arrangements that flowers were brought from within the United States and abroad. The cost estimate was based on sources who spoke to the site, without publishing invoices confirming the final amount.

Notable details were not limited to decorations; the "New York Post" newspaper mentioned that guests received individual caviar boxes at the beginning of dinner, and that the event featured the participation of a large musical band.

It also indicated that Habba wore three dresses during the occasion, and that American rapper Nelly performed at a subsequent celebration for the guests.
