Ashley Alexiss faces divided fan reactions after losing 100 pounds, expressing disappointment at not being viewed as a role model despite her previous success.

Two years ago, Ashley Alexiss captivated audiences in a snakeskin bathing suit from her brand, Shop Alexiss. The model and influencer displayed her curves in the size-inclusive swimwear line, which featured racy animal prints. At that time, she posted images to Instagram, where the account has 220,000 followers, highlighting her 30GG cleavage and hourglass figure in a green bikini.
Current discussions surrounding Alexiss center less on her swimwear and more on her subsequent weight loss of 100 pounds. She has voiced disappointment regarding public perception, noting that she is not considered a “role model” following this transformation. This shift in narrative has created a divide among her fanbase.
In the earlier promotional content, Alexiss posed with one hand on her waist in a studio setting. The two-piece ensemble consisted of a halterneck top with thick straps and black accents on the bust band, paired with matching bottoms featuring black block color panels against the snakeskin motif. Her hair was down, and she wore matte makeup while maintaining a piercing gaze.
The caption accompanying these photos advertised a sale: “90% OFF NOW! Get quality bathing suits for an affordable price! No restocks! Get your favorites while they last!” While the Shop Alexiss Instagram page remains active, it lacks recent updates, suggesting a pivot toward other professional endeavors. Alexiss joins a list of celebrities who have launched swimwear lines, including Kim Kardashian, Emily Ratajkowski, and Elizabeth Hurley.
Last summer, Alexiss showcased her reduced frame in a sleeveless minidress adorned with floral embellishments. The look emphasized her slimmed-down waist and legs. During this period, she addressed misconceptions about her body image, stating that many assumed she was unhappy or ashamed of her former self.
“I think that a lot of people assumed that I wasn’t happy in my body or that I was ashamed of it, which is so far from the truth because I spent 15 years being a plus-size model, and my motto has always been, ‘Beauty is not a size.’ And I think that still rings true. Being 100 pounds lighter, it doesn’t change,” Alexiss explained. These comments drew headlines amid criticism regarding her weight loss journey.
Alexiss is not alone in facing scrutiny over physical changes. Other high-profile figures have also generated discussion regarding their weight loss:
In another recent appearance, Alexiss opted for a bridal-inspired aesthetic, wearing a tight white dress that highlighted her waist.
