Britney Spears Claims Instagram Removed 72 Million View Yacht Video

A claim of censorship accompanied a Friday social media update from Britney Spears. The singer stated that Instagram removed a video which she said had accumulated 72 million views. In her repost, she told followers: “REPOST!!! This had the most views of any of my posts with 72 million views.”

The Viral Yacht Clip Details

The footage shows Spears on a yacht, wearing a two-toned bikini featuring green fabric with yellow piping. She displayed her cleavage and toned shoulders while speaking in an accent described as near-British. A male companion appeared in the frame as she announced they had been snorkeling the previous day. “Me and this man are out here in this water! Look at us! Sorry, I’m a nerd,” she said during the recording.

Spears noted the location resembled Turks and Caicos, though she did not explicitly confirm the site. Her hair was damp and unstyled, and she wore no makeup but used sunglasses. The audio captured rapid, excited speech as she cruised through the water. The original version of this video first generated headlines in August 2025.

Audio and Visual Observations

The accompanying man spoke briefly, though his words remained largely inaudible. Viewers observed clear waters and a distant beach lined with greenery. The clip also drew attention because Spears played a track by ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake.

In the caption for the repost, Spears addressed the removal. “Not sure why it was taken down by Instagram, but now I just get a million,” she wrote. She added: “OH WELL. Weird … Yeah, I said it … Real motherf*cker !!! nnn Ps so dumb … I’m just happy to be here y’all !!!”

Ongoing Public Concerns

According to Page Six, the video sparked mental health concerns among fans, a trend continuing into 2026. Spears has Bipolar disorder. In March, she faced arrest for driving under the influence, subsequently entering rehab. Prior to that, a stunt involving a car roof on an L.A. freeway raised worries about her well-being following her release.

• Fans commented she looked “like she’d been crying” while poolside in a tiny bikini.
• Romance rumors emerged regarding a mystery man in Malibu.
• A post featuring mermaids and vampires triggered significant concern.
• Reports indicated family worry over her “deadly serious” baby plans.

On September 18, Spears shared a photo in a see-through, chest-baring minidress. In one image, she held a book to her face; another used a red X graphic to cover her chest.

Reflective Social Media Posts

A melancholy post in July referenced pre-COVID times. Spears showed a zebra-print bikini and boots look while posing poolside. “Remember when I used to do pictures… was it worth what I went through to get this picture? Nope,” she wrote.
