The Cairo Criminal Court ordered the release of businessman Ahmed El-Hadad, husband of actress Hagar Ahmed, during hearings on charges linked to a financial dispute at a car showroom.

The Cairo Criminal Court has issued an order for the release of businessman Ahmed El-Hadad, who is married to Egyptian actress Hagar Ahmed. The decision came during proceedings examining allegations of displaying force, threatening violence, and robbery by coercion. These charges stem from financial disagreements associated with a car showroom located in the Fifth Settlement area.
The court convened on Sunday, October 11, 2026, where it decided to postpone the completion of the case review until December 13. This adjournment followed the submission of a reconciliation document and waiver of claims by the defense representing the owners of the car showroom.
During the session, the court heard testimony from the showroom owners as part of the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the dispute. The conflict had escalated into mutual accusations regarding the use of force and assault against one of the employees.
The defense for the showroom owners had previously submitted a reconciliation agreement in an earlier session. They clarified that two individuals intervened as mediators in an attempt to settle the financial disagreement between the showroom owner and Sabry Nakhnukh.
Tight security procedures were implemented around the courthouse coinciding with the hearing. Sabry Nakhnukh arrived at the venue under heavy police escort.
