‘Changed My Sex Life’: Halle Berry Launches Intimate Wellness Product

Juicy Like a Peach, a vaginal dryness gel treatment, has been launched by Halle Berry in collaboration with Joylux, aiming to improve sexual comfort for women experiencing menopause.

Halle Berry, who founded the wellness brand Respin, partnered with Joylux to introduce Juicy Like a Peach, a gel addressing vaginal dryness. In an interview with People, Berry shared her personal struggles with menopause that motivated the product’s creation.

Berry described her entry into perimenopause as unexpected and challenging. “When I got plummeted into perimenopause, I knew nothing about it,” she said. “I had a rude awakening. I was in the bowels of hell trying to deal with it.”

She revealed that for a decade she experienced symptoms without understanding their connection to menopause. “None of my doctors uttered a word about menopause, perimenopause, change of life, nothing,” Berry stated. “They all just kept telling me, ‘You look great.’ They never told me that no matter what you look like, your hormones are changing, and your insides are aging. Like, nobody dared say that.”

Advocating for women’s health, Berry expressed that she realized the importance of using her voice to raise awareness. “I realized that I had spent my whole life doing what I loved, I had a voice, and that I should use it for good. And this was a good way for me to use my voice for good, because I felt like, ‘If I’m feeling this way, I can imagine millions of other women are too, and let’s start the conversation.’”

The actress explained that Juicy Like a Peach was developed to help menopausal women regain a sense of normalcy. She said the product “allows us to maintain our moisture, to have pain-free sex so that we can feel confident and be spontaneous again. It’s changed my sex life. I have my confidence back.”
