Daniela Avanzini stated she is "not sure" why Manon Bannerman remains absent from KATSEYE during a Paris Fashion Week interaction.
Daniela Avanzini offered an ambiguous response regarding the status of her bandmate, Manon Bannerman, while attending Paris Fashion Week. When questioned by fans about Bannerman’s continued absence from the group, the KATSEYE member admitted uncertainty about the situation.
The exchange occurred when a fan directly asked why Bannerman was no longer part of KATSEYE. According to footage circulated from the event, Avanzini replied, “I’m not sure.” She added, “I miss her so much! And I wish her the best,” before deflecting further explanation regarding the specific reasons for the separation.
Bannerman has been away from the group since February. HYBE x Geffen announced on Feb. 20 that she would take a temporary hiatus to prioritize her health and well-being. At that time, the agency stated the group supported her decision and intended to proceed with scheduled activities. This development prompted fans to closely monitor any signs indicating her potential return.
In April, Bannerman removed KATSEYE from her Instagram bio. The group performed at Coachella that same month without her. Another lineup adjustment followed in August when Sophia Laforteza began her own hiatus. Since then, Daniela, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, and Yoonchae Jeung have operated as a four-member unit. They have continued promotions for the WILD EP, appeared on Saturday Night Live, and toured Europe as part of the WILDWORLD Tour.
The upcoming North American leg of the WILDWORLD Tour begins Oct. 13 at Miami’s Kaseya Center. It remains unclear whether Bannerman or Laforteza will rejoin the group for these performances. KATSEYE is also scheduled to perform at the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Oct. 25 in Los Angeles. Additionally, the group made their television debut on Saturday Night Live on Sept. 27, 2025.
No official update has been issued regarding Bannerman’s return timeline. Her current status within the group remains undefined as the members prepare for their next series of live appearances.
