Elissa praised Dubai's Court of Cassation ruling affirming her artistic and digital rights against Watari company, emphasizing the protection of her name and works.

Elissa expressed her approval of the decision issued by Dubai's Court of Cassation regarding the dispute over her artistic and digital rights against Watari company. She described the ruling as a significant victory for her career, rights, and artistic name, sending a clear message that exploiting an artist's work or digital presence cannot occur outside the law or contractual agreements.
She stressed that the ruling strengthens her position in safeguarding her works and digital platforms, especially given the essential role electronic platforms now play in an artist's identity, rights, and standing with their audience.
In a brief statement, Elissa said:
"Justice has prevailed. This ruling confirms that my name, voice, works, and digital identity are not available to anyone. I thank the UAE judiciary for its fairness, renew my full confidence in the Lebanese judiciary, and will continue to pursue the full affirmation of my rights."
Elissa also extended her "thanks and appreciation to my defense team, the offices of Issam Al-Tamimi & Partners and Marc Habqa & Partners, for their legal and professional efforts in handling this case and defending my rights."
She affirmed that "this judicial step represents a new stage in the battle to protect artists' rights in the digital world, and I will continue to take all necessary measures to preserve my works, name, and artistic history."
