George Santos describes Brandi Glanville's pointed remarks about his political past during filming, noting he donated to her GoFundMe after she withdrew.

George Santos recounted a series of sharp comments directed at him by Brandi Glanville while they were both participating in the Fox reality competition Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. Despite the pointed nature of these exchanges, which included direct references to his political history, Santos stated that he was not upset by Glanville’s remarks.
A specific incident occurred when Glanville found herself seated between Santos and Candace Cameron Bure. She joked, “We’re not going to talk politics or religion. And now look at who I’m sitting in between.” Santos noted that he had anticipated some cast members might distance themselves due to concerns about how associating with him could impact their public image.
The Daily Mail reported that Glanville delivered another jab during a trust exercise involving a backward helicopter jump. After Santos caught Bure during the activity, he offered to assist Glanville in the same manner. Her response was blunt: “I don’t f**** with politicians.”
Santos recalled his reaction to the comment without holding resentment. “She’s like, ‘I don’t do politicians’… I was like, son of a b****. She did it!” he said. He emphasized that the remark did not seriously bother him.
Other contestants also addressed Santos’ background during the filming process. Oliver Hudson criticized his congressional career, while Ruby Rose referenced allegations connected to his criminal case. Santos had previously pleaded guilty to wire fraud and aggravated identity theft, receiving an 87-month prison sentence. Donald Trump commuted this sentence in October 2025, leading to Santos’ release after he had served part of the term.
Despite initial tensions, Santos indicated that relationships with certain cast members evolved as filming progressed. He specifically mentioned beginning regular communication via direct messages with Ruby Rose. His interaction with Glanville also remained cordial after production wrapped.
Santos claimed he assisted Glanville in the water following the helicopter challenge. Glanville subsequently withdrew from the competition after sustaining several injuries during the jump. Santos expressed no lingering resentment over her earlier comments and later donated $500 to her GoFundMe campaign after she publicly discussed health issues.
For Santos, the experience provided an opportunity to confront his past while enduring the physical and emotional demands of the show. He stated that he would be interested in returning for another season.
