GloRilla Faces Backlash Over Bikini Photos Amid Pregnancy Speculation
Rapper GloRilla shared bikini photos to address pregnancy rumors, but fans claimed the images were outdated and failed to disprove speculation.

Pregnancy chatter surrounding rapper GloRilla intensified following her October 11 social media activity, where she posted bikini photographs intended to silence speculation. The online debate has begun to eclipse a significant professional milestone: the beta launch of her beauty marketplace, GloVerse.
Fans Reject Recent Photo Claims
Although the summer season has ended, GloRilla utilized swimwear imagery to make a statement regarding her physical condition. Her Instagram update consisted of three slides; two featured the Memphis-based artist posing in a yellow bikini next to an infinity pool, while the third provided instructions for beauty professionals interested in joining her new platform.
In these images, GloRilla’s midsection appeared flat, accompanied by a bright smile and hand gestures forming a heart shape. However, the audience response was skeptical rather than reassuring. Within 11 hours, the post accumulated nearly 400,000 likes and over 3,000 comments. GloRilla captioned the upload, “I luv you. Enter the GloVerse,” tagging the official account for the marketplace.
The comment section focused on verifying the authenticity of the pictures rather than discussing the business venture. Several users argued that the photographs were not recent. One commenter stated, “That’s old,” while another added, “Old picture.” A third user addressed defenders of the rapper, noting, “Y’all act like she didn’t take this picture months ago and just posted it.”
Origins of Current Rumors
The current wave of speculation began on October 5, when GloRilla released promotional photos for GloVerse. Viewers identified perceived changes in her facial features, specifically claiming her nose appeared larger, which they associated with pregnancy symptoms.
One individual asserted, “Definitely pregnant idc. I have 3 kids. I know what the first, second, and third trimester look like.” Other users offered alternative explanations, suggesting the rapper had simply increased her food intake to reach a healthier weight. Despite these counterarguments, one person remarked, “when the internet says someone is pregnant, they are never wrong.”
Critics also accused GloRilla of imitating Megan Thee Stallion, labeling her “Megan Sidekick” after she shared underwear photos. Observers noted a shift toward bolder fashion choices, including a previous appearance in a see-through catsuit described by some as looking “cheap.” Additional comments criticized a boat-based bikini throwback, while others called her “too pretty” in a low-cut minidress.
Prior Denials and Context
This incident marks the second time GloRilla has faced such rumors this year. In March, she posted a photoshoot featuring a cropped white zip-up hoodie and matching sweatpants. Fans zoomed in on one slide, alleging they saw a baby bump.
Concurrently, she uploaded a video rapping along to Latto’s track “Business & Personal” while wearing an oversized T-shirt, which further fueled the claims. Days later, GloRilla responded with yellow two-piece photos displaying her midsection clearly. The speculation subsided after she made several subsequent appearances without visible signs of pregnancy.
