Josh Allen Embraces New Fatherhood Challenges with Hailee Steinfeld's Daughter

Josh Allen shared insights into how his life has shifted since becoming a father to Hailee Steinfeld’s daughter. The NFL quarterback expressed his enjoyment of “being a dad” and his acceptance of the disrupted sleep patterns that accompany parenthood. Despite needing a consistent sleep routine as an athlete, Allen acknowledged that his hours have become “unpredictable” but that he does not mind the change. Josh Allen Discusses Fatherhood and Sleep Changes

In an interview with PEOPLE, Josh Allen described the adjustments he has experienced since the arrival of his daughter with Hailee Steinfeld. He emphasized his love for fatherhood and his acceptance of the “interrupted” sleep he now endures. Allen explained that while his approach to life and work remains consistent, his motivation has shifted since becoming a parent.

“It’s to show this little daughter that me and my wife are trying to raise how hard you need to work to accomplish something so great, so, I don’t think that the approach changes, but the why behind it does,” Allen stated.

The Buffalo Bills quarterback also detailed how his sleep habits have evolved. Previously a “late sleeper” who considered going to bed by 11:30 p.m. a success, Allen now goes to bed much earlier following Harper’s birth.

“Now, if I’m not in bed by 10, it means we’re probably doing something wrong. So, baby goes down at a certain time and me and my wife are shortly after her, just making sure that we can get as much sleep as we can,” he added.

Hailee Steinfeld announced the birth of their daughter in a distinctive manner. On April 2, she published a heartfelt post titled “Special Delivery” on the platform Substack.
