Kamala Harris was reportedly hurt after being excluded from the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, which took place on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Harris Accepted the Decision but Desired to Celebrate with the Couple

Despite not receiving an invitation to the ceremony, Harris understood the reasoning behind Swift’s choice. A source told OK Magazine that Harris “genuinely likes Taylor and would have loved to celebrate with her,” but acknowledged that the decision was made with specific intentions. The source added, “She understood the decision, but that didn’t make it sting any less.”

The source further explained that Swift aimed for the wedding to focus solely on her marriage, rather than on the presence of political figures. “The moment a major political figure arrives, the focus shifts,” the source said, highlighting Swift’s intention to avoid political distractions during the event.

Guest List Featured Celebrities and Sports Figures

According to Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack, Swift’s wedding guest list was star-studded and internationally diverse, including personalities such as Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, Kansas City Chiefs owner, Steven Spielberg, and coach Andy Reid. The source noted that Swift wanted the wedding to be remembered for “the vows, the music, and the love — not for the political guest list.”

Other notable individuals like Dave Portnoy and Will Compton also reportedly did not receive invitations to the wedding.

Relationship Between Harris and Swift and Ongoing Wedding Reports

Harris and Swift have been acquainted since the singer publicly endorsed Harris’s campaign. Nearly a week after the wedding, reports about the event and its guest list continue to emerge, although the couple has not issued any public statements regarding the ceremony or the invitations.
