True and Tatum began third grade this week, a milestone that left Khloe Kardashian emotionally overwhelmed. The reality television personality posted a series of images on Instagram documenting the occasion, including shots of the twins posing beside a school-themed backdrop decorated with balloons, oversized pencils, apples, and a chalkboard.

What the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum said about time and growth

The backdrop prominently displayed the phrases “3rd Grade” and “First Day of School.” One image featured Khloe standing between her children; others showed True and Tatum together and separately. Her caption read: “I canNOT believe Tatum started school today! And my True is in THIRD GRADE!? Both of my babies are officially in school, and I truly don’t know how we got here.”

She described watching them grow as both joyful and bittersweet, noting they are becoming “a little bigger, a little more independent” and “more of who they are meant to be.” Khloe added that she wished she could slow the process down “just a little.”

“I love my babies beyond words and I am so incredibly proud of the souls that they are and all that they are becoming,” she wrote. She concluded the post by expressing anticipation for what the new school year would bring.

School celebration and recent public appearances

The Instagram post marked a significant moment in the children’s academic journey — their entry into third grade. In addition to the school-themed visuals, Khloe has drawn attention recently for fashion choices, including a powder-blue bodysuit featured in another Instagram post. For now, her focus remains on commemorating how much True and Tatum have grown — even while acknowledging her desire to pause time.
