Kim Kardashian poses in a nude SKIMS bodysuit and pale blue Alaïa micro minidress for The Sunday Times, styled to appear partially removed.

A nude SKIMS bodysuit paired with a $2,907 pale blue Alaïa micro minidress defined Kim Kardashian’s latest editorial appearance for The Sunday Times. The reality star and founder of the shapewear brand adopted a layered aesthetic that her stylist characterized as a “state of undress.” This unconventional approach showcased both the designer garment and her own label’s product simultaneously.
For the shoot, Kardashian positioned the upper portion of the Alaïa number around her waist rather than wearing it conventionally. One strap slipped down her arm while she held the fabric across her stomach, fully exposing the fitted bodysuit above the dress line. The blue garment hugged tightly at the hips before ending high on her thighs, creating the illusion of being caught mid-change.
The pose reinforced the theme by having Kardashian tug lightly at one strap of the nude bodysuit with her free hand. She stared directly into the camera lens, emphasizing the deliberately unfinished quality of the look. Her glam team maintained a classic presentation, with long jet-black hair falling loose and voluminous around her shoulders. Makeup included sculpted cheeks, defined brows, smoky eyes, and a glossy nude lip against bronzed skin.
Stylist Ronnie Hart shared the resulting image on Instagram, captioning it “Kim in a state of undress.” Hart credited Maison Alaïa alongside photographer Daniel Sachon, hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos, and makeup artist Ariel Tejada for their contributions to the session.
The accompanying feature in The Sunday Times also covered the origins of Kardashian’s shapewear company. She explained her desire for more inclusive neutral shades and products that offer comfort without sacrificing sculpting effects. For this specific shoot, the narrative turned the shapewear itself into the central focus of the visual story.
