Madonna’s Arca Studio Clip Sparks Fan Demand for Unreleased Track
Madonna released a behind-the-scenes video of her recording sessions with Arca, prompting fans to demand the release of an unreleased song snippet.

A new behind-the-scenes clip featuring Madonna and producer Arca has triggered immediate fan requests for additional music. The singer posted the footage, titled Confessions II Studio Sessions: Arca, across her official YouTube channel and Instagram on Thursday, October 15.
Fan Reactions to Studio Footage
Viewers focused on a specific audio snippet within the video, identifying it as a track not included in the standard album edition. Comments sections quickly filled with demands for an official release of the material.
“Those are new songs and WE NEED THEM QUEEN,” one user wrote. Another commented, “We want this song that is not on the album!!” Shorter pleas also appeared, including “I NEED THE NEW SONG NOW” and “I’ve seen enough. Drop the deluxe.”
Potential Expanded Release Plans
Speculation emerged regarding whether the footage hints at an expanded version of the record or a remix collection. Some listeners suggested the unidentified track might be “What Will Save Me,” a title Madonna mentioned in an interview earlier this year.
In that conversation with Interview, she stated: “I have a song that’s not on the record called ‘What Will Save Me.’ I did it with Arca and Stuart. We all talked about feeling like outsiders and how the club life and being on the dance floor make you feel like you’re part of a community, without saying anything. It saves you every time, whenever you’re feeling down, whenever you feel like you can’t get it right, whenever you feel like a failure, whatever. Go out dancing because it will save you.”
The description accompanying the uploaded video contains no formal announcement regarding a release date, leaving fans waiting for further details.
Arca’s Credits on Confessions II
Arca already holds production credits on the released version of Confessions II. She is listed for additional production, keyboards, and programming on two tracks: “I Feel So Free” and “The Test.”
Both songs were produced by Madonna alongside Stuart Price. The full album was released on July 3.
The studio session video is available on Madonna’s official YouTube channel. Fans may also revisit her opening performance from the 2026 VMAs.
