Megyn Kelly Labels Jennifer Lopez a 'Poser' After Knicks Championship Video
Megyn Kelly criticized Jennifer Lopez for her social media video celebrating the New York Knicks' NBA championship win on June 13.

The New York Knicks secured their first NBA championship in 53 years with a 94-90 win over the San Antonio Spurs on June 13, a moment that prompted Jennifer Lopez to share a celebratory video on social media. The 56-year-old singer posted footage of herself watching the final moments of Game 5 and expressing excitement over the victory.
In her Instagram post, Lopez recalled, “Congratulations to the New York Knickerbockers, NBA Champions!!!!! I remember the last time the Knicks were making a run for the championship and rushing home every game day from the set to watch Ewing, Starks, and Oakley make a hell of a run. We have all been waiting patiently for this day for years.”
Jennifer Lopez’s Knicks Celebration Draws Criticism from Megyn Kelly
Following Lopez’s post, podcast host Megyn Kelly expressed her disapproval during a discussion on her show. She stated, “I’m not gonna lie, I think J.Lo is a poser. She posted this video. Watch this… It’s her in what’s clearly a multi-million-dollar home, this huge TV, I can’t even explain the luxury we’re looking at, the fireplace, the windows, floor-to-ceiling. She’s dressed up. Because who doesn’t have someone filming them when something wonderful happens, just to post it on social media?”
Kelly has previously criticized Lopez publicly. In November 2025, she commented on Lopez’s performance at the wedding of Indian billionaire Vamsi Gadiraju, focusing on her revealing outfit. At that time, Kelly remarked, “Why won’t Jennifer Lopez wear clothing? Explain this to me. She’s 56, I think she’s almost 57 now. She went to perform at a billionaire’s wedding in India.” She added, “I’m not begrudging her looking good at her age, but I’m in favor of clothing.”
