Penny Lane’s bathroom video draws millions of views

An estimated 20 to 30 million views have been attributed to a video showing model Penny Lane adjusting her swimwear in a bathroom setting. The clip originally circulated three months ago via a Reddit thread dedicated to Sports Illustrated Swim participants, where users shared footage of the British model posing with her back to the camera.

Viral bathroom footage details

In the recording, Lane wears low-rise, ribbed cream-colored bottoms that highlight her legs and glutes while she prepares to put on a micro top. She is seen stringing the garment around her torso, revealing triangle cups as fans focused on what would fill them. The model, who debuted in SI Swim in 2024, also displayed side cleavage and muscular shoulders during the sequence.

Commenters reacted strongly to the visual elements of the post. One user described the view from behind as showing "sideboob," while another compared the appearance to "sidewinders." A third comment stated, "Yup. That’s what large, REAL boobs look like," emphasizing the natural shape visible in the footage. Lane stood with her long hair down throughout the clip.

Miami runway context

The bathroom video gained traction following Lane’s viral moment in June at Miami Swim Week, where she walked the magazine’s runway wearing a sheer black swimsuit and high heels. This earlier appearance contributed to her rising profile within the swimwear community.

Comparative social media posts

A separate collage posted on X contrasted Lane’s physique from two different years, specifically comparing images from 2023 and 2025. In one snapshot, she wore a denim-inspired outfit with chaps and a bikini top; in the other, she appeared in a red string bikini. Both images highlighted significant cleavage.

Lane is not alone in generating such online discussion. Other models have similarly drawn attention for their swimwear appearances:

• Lindsey Pelas was noted for showering in a string bikini, with comments referring to her "best rack out there."
• Barbara Palvin received praise for running in a tight blue swimsuit, described by some as a "straight 10."
• Paige Uncaged showcased "huge knockers" while wearing naughty nurse underwear.
• Emily Ratajkowski flaunted her "milk jugs" in a fishnet swimsuit.

Instagram follower metrics

Lane’s visibility has coincided with growth on Instagram, where she is followed by over 600,000 users. As the founder of duwie skincare, her account attracts celebrities including gymnast Olivia Dunne, singer Jessie James Decker, and model Kara del Toro.

Her own follow list includes prominent figures such as Kim Kardashian, actress Sydney Sweeney, and Salma Hayek.
