American actor and comedian Pete Davidson disclosed a sudden health scare encountered while shooting a new project. The 32-year-old suffered two head concussions within a span of just three weeks, a consequence of his insistence on performing action sequences personally rather than relying on a stand-in.

Stunt Double Rejection Details

Davidson shared the specifics of the incident during an appearance on the "Jimmy Kimmel" show. He explained that he chose to dismiss the designated stunt double because there was a noticeable discrepancy in their respective builds and heights. This decision led him to take personal risks during the production process.

The comedian described his choice with a touch of irony before undergoing concussion-specific examinations following the two injuries. Medical tests subsequently revealed temporary damage to his brain. His physician instructed him to avoid bright lights and wear sunglasses even while attending daily commitments and appearing on television programs. The injuries coincided with Davidson’s active preparation for the movie Tommy Karate. In this film, he portrays a hired killer. Davidson stated that he has been developing the story, which draws inspiration from the mafia world, for more than three years.
