Queen Rania Announces New Joy on the Way for Princess Iman and Jameel

Queen Rania Al Abdullah revealed that a new joy is on the way, referring to Princess Iman bint Abdullah and her husband Jameel expecting a newborn. She shared a photo on her Instagram account with the caption, "A new joy is on the way… Congratulations to Iman, Jameel, and my dear Amina who will become a big sister."

She added, "May God grant you a safe delivery and complete your happiness, God willing."

In February 2025, the Jordanian Royal Court announced that Princess Iman and her husband, Jameel Alexander Thermyots, had welcomed a daughter named Amina.

King Abdullah II posted on his X account, "I congratulate my dear Iman and beloved Jameel on their daughter Amina. We praise God for His countless blessings and ask Him to protect her and make her among the righteous. God protect you, Grandpa."

Queen Rania also wrote on Facebook, "Praise be to God for the completion of the blessing and the fullness of grace. By God's grace, we were blessed with a daughter whom we named Amina. May God illuminate her heart with His noble light and protect them with His ever-watchful eye… Iman and Jameel."
