21 Dead Following Landslide in Northwest China's Gansu Province

The number of fatalities caused by a landslide in Gansu province, located in northwest China, has reached 21, after 33 individuals were buried in the incident the previous day, official media reported on Wednesday.

According to Xinhua News Agency, rescue teams quickly responded to the landslide site, which occurred around 6:56 a.m. yesterday in Rentsang village within Dangchang county.

The agency cited local authorities stating that search and rescue operations at the landslide location in Dangchang county have concluded, confirming that the disaster resulted in 21 deaths.
