Digital availability for Adam Wingard’s action thriller Onslaught began on October 6, 2026. The film, which features Adria Arjona in the lead role, is now accessible through major streaming platforms following its earlier theatrical run.

Release date and platform details

According to DVD Release Dates, the title was distributed on Digital HD through Amazon Video and iTunes on the specified date. This marks the transition of the movie from cinemas to home viewing options.

Film production and plot summary

Wingard directed the project, with Simon Barrett handling the screenplay. The movie premiered theatrically on September 4, 2026. Arjona portrays Celeste Cross, a former Army sniper who has left military service to live with her young daughter, Daisy, in a remote trailer park.

Celeste’s quiet existence ends when three genetically engineered super soldiers escape a secret government facility. These fugitives were created by Doctor Hans Kammler. Their violent rampage reaches Celeste’s community, forcing her to use her combat experience to protect her daughter and neighbors.

Cast list and critical reception

The cast includes Dan Stevens as Hans Kammler, Eric Wareheim as Kovacks, Reginald VelJohnson as Josiah, Michael Biehn as Baylor, and Blake Kennedy as Daisy. On Rotten Tomatoes, critics assigned the film a 58 percent score based on 132 reviews. The audience rating stands at 61 percent.

CBR stated, “Onslaught is an intense thriller that oozes style. While some of its story elements feel a bit underexplored, these shadowed edges at the periphery of Onslaught’s central narrative are a sign that the filmmakers have refined their craft enough to build immersive worlds with minimal exposition.”
