Police investigate the disappearance of 27-year-old Beatriz Vitória Aparecida Neves Mota, who vanished after entering a mystery vehicle in Jaboticatubas.

Security footage captured a silver vehicle traveling toward a bar and returning approximately 15 minutes later, marking a critical development in the search for Beatriz Vitória Aparecida Neves Mota. The 27-year-old disappeared on Friday night, October 9, after approaching the occupants of this car near the establishment where she had been drinking with friends in Jaboticatubas, located in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

Accounts provided to police indicate that individuals inside the car repeatedly encouraged Mota to get in. Before leaving her group, she explicitly warned her companions to initiate a search if she did not return within five minutes. Her sister, Geovana Luiza, recounted that Mota stated, "I’m going over there to talk in the car; if I don’t come back in five minutes, come find me."
When Mota failed to reappear, one of her friends went to check on her but found the vehicle already gone. Another camera recorded the same silver car passing through the city center shortly after. Police have not confirmed the identities of those inside the vehicle or its subsequent destination.

On October 13, investigators recalled Mota’s ex-boyfriend and his current partner to the police station to provide additional information. Local reports noted that relatives alleged Mota suffered abuse during her previous relationship, which reportedly ended about two months before her disappearance. However, neither the ex-boyfriend nor his partner has been publicly identified as suspects.
Mota’s family reported receiving threatening messages sent to her younger sister via a fake Instagram account following the incident. Police have not confirmed any connection between these online communications and the case. Geovana Luiza stated that the family possesses no new information but continues their hunt, hoping to uncover clues that could lead to Mota’s location.
