Egyptian investigators have ordered an autopsy on the late artist Ahmed Jalal Abdel Qawi, who died at age 42, to determine the exact cause of death.

Investigative authorities in Egypt are continuing their procedures to clarify the circumstances surrounding the death of the young artist Ahmed Jalal Abdel Qawi, following the decision to transfer his body to the Zinhum morgue.
The authorities have instructed that the body be deposited at the Zinhum morgue and assigned forensic doctors to perform an autopsy to identify the precise cause of death. The issuance of the burial permit has been postponed until the final medical report is completed.
A team from the investigative bodies, accompanied by police officers and forensic doctors, visited to conduct the necessary examination of the body as part of completing the investigations. Their aim is to ascertain the truth of the death and confirm the absence of any criminal suspicion before announcing the final results.
Ahmed Jalal Abdel Qawi passed away in the early hours of Sunday at the age of 42 inside a hospital located in the Hadayek Al-Ahram area.
The deceased had previously announced his cancer diagnosis and received significant support and prayers from his followers. In his final hours, he posted a message on Facebook that was perceived as a farewell, stating: "Time is an important factor in all cases.. What matters is to change the narrative."
